WRITERS, READ THIS! IMPORTANT.
Hello there lovelies! I've got some important information for you!
(PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE THING)
We are currently working on putting together a few teams of writers to write the script for the film. Basically, the plotline is currently being fleshed out, and once that is done, it will be divided into several sections.
Once that is done, the sections will be given to the writing teams, and together they will fashion the sections into workable scripts. Those scripts will be put together to make the script for the entire film.
I would like to stress that this is a very serious and important part of the film, and we'd like it to be the best it can possibly be. If you didn’t know already, Bryony would like the film to be done by October. We are on a timeline.
So while these teams will be open to everyone , please take into consideration how serious you are about contributing before you decide to get involved.
We want everyone to have the option to be included. However, the key word is OPTION. This is a “just because you can, doesn’t mean you should” kind of situation. I am not trying to be rude, please understand that. We just want this to be the best it can be, and if you are not going to actively participate, please do not involve yourself.
I would also like to add that this is not the end of the forum. Just because there will be people working on the script doesn’t mean the forum is dead. You can continue to voice your opinion and discuss the plot ideas the same way you always have. HOWEVER, we cannot guarantee that your ideas will make it into the script. Maybe your ideas will be incorporated, maybe they will not be. That is up to the writers.
(As a side note, everything the writers come up with will be approved by Bryony. If she does not approve it, it will be rewritten.)
If you decide you do not want to be involved in the script at this point, obviously there will be TONS and TONS more ways for you to be involved. You will just have to be patient and wait until we get to that stage of development. Although Halloween is not really that far away, we still have a lot of hard work to do, work that you ALL can be involved in.
So, if you have thought about it, and you are willing to actively work to get this script done, this is what you need to do:
Please e-mail me at averysexymistake@hotmail.com or (PM me) with your NAME and your E-MAIL, and I will contact you further, explaining in more detail what you will be doing.
Please e-mail Bryony*, she would also like to keep tabs on who is involved. You can just send her the same thing you send me, to make it easier.
*I know it seems stupid to e-mail both of us, but there is a reason, so just deal with it.
If you are confused and have questions, you can e-mail me or Shyara, and we’ll try and help you out.

Re: WRITERS, READ THIS! IMPORTANT.
I would like to help out some more (despite myself already putting my name down for a director's role...) but I've got some ideas to give out.
I got an A in English, too and write short novels in my spare time.

WHAT WRITERS NEED TO HEAR
"We are currently working on putting together a few teams of writers to write the script for the film. Basically, the plotline is currently being fleshed out, and once that is done, it will be divided into several sections."
Any serious writer will need you to address these concerns immediately:
1) How many writers: In each team? Altogether? How many teams?
2) How is each writing team going to function if the members of each team are unable to physically meet?
3) How are the writing teams going to coordinate their writing to avoid different teams writing incompatible material?
4) Since "the plot is currently being fleshed out":
a) How complete will the plot be before it is given to the writers?
b) How will different sections of plot be divided between the writing teams?
c) How will subsequent plot changes be coordinated between the writers, their teams and the forum?
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY...
5) Now that, suddenly, we have been informed that the whole movie will be finished by October 31st, 2008 (I'm sure everyone would also like to know how that rather imminent date was arrived at), what is the deadline to produce a finished script?
Speaking as a writer who is serious, committed, excited about the project but concerned about organisation and decision-making, these are the questions that matter to me. I hope I've asked some questions that are on other writer's minds as well.

Re: WRITERS, READ THIS! IMPORTANT.
since the story is meant to involve many countries around the world, I would like to write a little part for Germany, if you don't mind. Maybe I could work with some other German writers you have given that job already. please, pm me to tell me what you think about it.

Hi everyone.....
Hi all,
First of all I would like to say that this seems like a great project, I love film and like a good zombie movie!
Alexis, I agree with what you say about people having to be committed and making this film shine rather than doing a botched job.
I am keen to take part in this endeavour and to this end I would like to make contact with Bryony also. This may be a silly question, but do you have an email address or some other way to contact her please? (I only registered to this site yesterday so don't know much more than the basics yet!)
Currently I am just jotting down initial ideas i've had for plot lines/scenes and should post them up soon for all to see.
Look forward to working with you all.
Kind Regards
Raman

Re: WRITERS, READ THIS! IMPORTANT.
Ready and willing to put in all i can 150% i have a good zombie knowlage as i have spent most my time watching horror films and reading the comics i have 101 ideas and if you want them there youres.
Can I help even though I'm 15?
I have already put down that I want to be an actor (if we can film around my area) but I would love to help out with the script as well!
I don't have much experience in writing scripts, but I've written many short stories(which many include Ghosts, Zombies, and Monsters), Have an A in English, and have a couple of ideas. Also, I'm home schooled, so I have a lot of time on my hands to give to this project.
Please contact me if you need anything at:

Thank you!

if any team would like to contact me
I'd be willing to lend a hand in the screenplay. If anyone needs scenes to be written I'm your man.

You should read the thread "Final Script (1st draft)". That script still needs some help to be rewritten. But read it as fast as you can cause it's quite long.
Re: WRITERS, READ THIS! IMPORTANT.
Not "rewritten" so much as "improved upon". haha If you see something we missed or have an idea for one of the vlogs or minor character storylines, it's still open to the community to suggest changes. Have fun with it, but yes, do it quickly. We're running out of time.
Be Well,

Sorry,
I may be thicker than a whale omlette and all that but where the blazes is the script located?
Is it hiding for a reason?
