It is nice to find out through the BBC what is going on!!!
It is kind of funny, and speaks volumes to the nature of this project- Finding out the scenes that the Frankfurt crew were to film, have been cut out of the movie via BBC?
oh, for shame, for shame....
-really, now, come on, that is pretty bad.....

The new BBC 3 webisode doesn't paint this project in a very good light, things are ticking along still but this is only known to those involved in the film itself.
Perhaps the BBC should think about doing a more upbeat episode to show the work that has been done
not an order just an thought instead of reporting the words of a few show the work of many which in the end is what this film is a combined effort.

I can see what the BBC/Hat Trick is trying to do. They're trying to build drama into the documentary so that when Bryony pulls it together there is some kind of payoff.
We have to keep in mind that the BBC is producing both a weekly series and a half hour documentary on our little project, and just like anything else it has to have a story with drama and characters to keep people interested in it.
I can't say that the drama is being totally fabricated, because there have been plenty of squabbles about this very subject, but it doesn't necessarily reflect the reality of the project either.
At best these webisodes show the state of the project as it was last week, at worst it shows an amalgamation of events spun together in such a way as to move the narrative of the documentary along.
You may not like it, but we should at least understand that this is what happens when life becomes a reality show. Even if it is called a documentary.
Re: It is nice to find out through the BBC what is going on!!!
Meg you should make a Global announcement to the Forums stating that the scenes have not been cut from the film.
Re: It is nice to find out through the BBC what is going on!!!
Aggh mislead the BBC. It's not their fault.

Yeah it's the standard reality tv show approach. Honestly, I pay more attention to here and just focus of getting things together then worry what the BBC or anyone else has to say. The payoff will be to see this completed.
Re: It is nice to find out through the BBC what is going on!!!
Think i was a bit hasty to say that the BBC were doing this project no good in their last webisode but i can see now as others have said that it is all part of it, can't have the good without the bad, whatever there maybe of it.
As Chris said the payoff will be to see this complete, with him on that as i am sure are others.

Re: It is nice to find out through the BBC what is going on!!!
ypou get more info from a dead donkey than is coming out of here lately and its starting to show amongst the members that this project is slowly falling apart which hopefully will be avoided
Re: It is nice to find out through the BBC what is going on!!!
Actually, if you had paid proper attention to the forums, you'd have seen that measures are being taken to ensure that the projec goes ahead. Meg and Angela have posted some important posts and I have a renewed belief in the project as of today.
Re: It is nice to find out through the BBC what is going on!!!
Part of me does feel that alot of the forum stuff has been left out I can understand why its gone the way its gone. Although I understand why some members are annoyed where things have'nt been openly looked at, some of us don't even know if our work/ideas were thought about.
But there has to be some sort of a line of where Paperlillys and the writers have to put it in to order. It has to be done their way, because other wise nothing is going to be done. I mean I think we all know that our own ideas were'nt gonna have major parts in the film, so the forum is just going to be happy with what it gets.

Re: It is nice to find out through the BBC what is going on!!!
fair comment but from what ive read of the script 90% of peoples idea's have not been included and no one is really being informed properly
as for the renewed faith in the project i can honestly say i have not seen anything new posted that gives reason to believe things are gonna change for the better
just in case ive missed anything though ill go and have a good scout about and see if i have lol

Re: It is nice to find out through the BBC what is going on!!!
Blindmedia... I will not warn you again. We're finally getting to the point where we're actually able to openly include EVERYTHING people have been asking about. If I catch you trying to stir up controversy anywhere else on this board after this point, there will be consequences. Meg has warned you. Now I have warned you.
We have people posting portions of their own writing all over this forum now. Almost the entire first draft is being thrown out, as it were. If you want to write, then go write. But shut up. This is finally starting to work. Get on board.
Be Well,
Shane

This maybe not my place to say but some of you may already know this but if you don't Bryony has posted a new video on the You Tube IZM channel, in responce to the recent events/comments on the forum & BBC 3 webisode , here is the link for the video, well worth a watch.
