I'm glad you didn't go for the Youtube vote. Been in too many situations where that has gone tits up due to some people being more popular than others, as you say.

It would have been nice if you'd used the names they have in the list, though, to make it easier to find them.

ABBIE (AKA. MADDIE): I think Frankie looks good for it.

ERIC: I'd prefer Zachsmind, but of the ones there, eightfingerEddie has to be the choice.
(Louietheactor showed promise BEFORE the audition part of his video, but the audition was terrible. Pretty, though.)

ANGELA: I don't think Yellowfluff did that much of a good job, really, and she would require us to rewrite the script somewhat as Angela is written to live in a dorm. You could ask those who're from outside NY if they'd be willing to travel (And pay for the travel themselves, I suppose.).

Here's the thing: I'd like to know if the film will have a director in London.

And here's another: If you talk to Youtube and Stickam about sponsoring (considering that they have a potential for a lot of productplacement here) they might be able to fork out money for travel (within reasonable limits) so you could pick the best people for the parts rather than the best people in the right area. Just a thought.

I just had a discussion about BenLoka with Fuze and I feel I have to re-state that BenLoka at no point even TRIES to act. I asked Fuze to show me a single video where Ben shows that he CAN act, but he was unable to. Now, whether I generally like BenLoka is neither here nor there, because I'm simply thinking of the film as a whole. If someone comes up (or HE comes up) with a video that shows he can actually act, I withdraw my argument.

So before you cast a vote for BenLoka, think: Do we want to give the main character's role to a person we don't know can act at all?

BEN:
I prefer BenLoka, as much as Mag will slice me open for saying that! I suppose the only reasons why is that I imagine Ben to look like him and his own personality is much like him, being a bit of a plonker with wacky ideas. I just think he needs a bit of a slap to get him into shape for doing a drama performance. If we're still unsure we could at least ask him to do a re-shoot of another monologue scene if possible.

Magnulus - Just look at his display picture! Creepy! Naw, he'd fit the role very well, and if BenLoka were to play as Ben, I think the off-screen tension will be just as high as on-screen! XD

ABBIE: Like Mag said, Frankie is a solid choice.

ERIC: Zachsmind is my preferred selection. Add to that the American Director (DaDirector) is in the same state as he is, that'd be perfect in terms of travel.

ANGELA: Pretty much undecided, to be honest.

And finally, as Mag has said, where is the director? S/he was supposed to have been selected ages ago...

Also, where are the Zombie Teens? And we need someone to play the Soldier at the end.

As far as BenLoka goes, make him do another video and tell him he needs to take it seriously. If he can't/ can't be bothered to, he's obviously not right for it. If he can, then I do agree that he probably fits the role the best in terms of looks.

Obviously, aside from Mag who, if you read the script, seems pretty spot on for Ethan.

I think we could do another search, using not just Youtube and start looking for people AFTER the script is done so we know what type of person we're looking for.

I'm not the biggest fan of Frankie. Maybe because the first audition she couldn't be arsed turning the TV off, maybe because in the second she gives us some needless drama about her mother and it just raised some weird questions that lingered into her actual audition.
So, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt but she didn't really scream out at me.
I think she could do a job if we really needed her to.

I quite like eightfingereddie. He's got that look I'd associate with Eric. He comes across as quite likeable.

But that's about it, from that lot.

IF we decide to go with these folks then I'd suggest we at least get them to audition again with the new scripts.

I couldn't be arsed to turn the TV off? That was actually my second audition. In reference to my firsy If you knew my mother, trust me you'd be annoyed too.
Also I get embarrassed when someone walks in on me talking to myself (well my mac) don't know if anyone else feels that way?

I am really up for this and if I am chosen I promise I will be better, it is hard to act to a screen with no one reading lines to react to and no one to interact with...
