Re: ORGANIZATION OF THE AUDITIONS!(All the Auditions Listed Here!)
Thanks, man. I appreciate it. I probably shouldn't have used my main e-mail for this in the first place, but here ya go. ^_^
Ethan audition
Actually I did audition for Ethan as well but you only put me down for Ben. I'll put
the link here:

I would rather be evil but I think Magnulus is probably best for it as well. I'm David Roberts btw.

======ERIC======
13. Name : Zach Garland
• Age : 40
• City : Dallas, Texas (USA)
• Audition Link: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=8neVJT5hM_g
Why:
Although number 6, David, came close, I think that Zach is so suitable for this role because of his appearance - he looks like a comedian, so this whole deal with Eric being the comical guy will go hand in hand with Zach. Definately suitable for the role.
YES YES YES!
choose him!
he's awesome.
i like his face.
and his voice.

Re: ORGANIZATION OF THE AUDITIONS!(All the Auditions Listed Here!)
This is probably not the place post this but i will anyway, my apologies if this is in the wrong place or someone has already raised this topic.
I had a though last night at work, the auditions for the main roles have gone out & such but what about the secondary characters, Kelly, Chuck and the rest that make up the script will these roles be offered to those who have already auditioned, who don't get cast in any of the main roles, doing that would save having to audition all over again, not that this will happen just thinking aloud.
the_happy_demon strange to see you out of your costume & make up of your profile pic, thought your audition was good though.

Re: ORGANIZATION OF THE AUDITIONS!(All the Auditions Listed Here!)
I didn't even know there were secondary characters. Thank you for bringing that up since that will definitely affect production and only push back the dates on other developments. Is there a project schedule posted anywhere that outlines the milestones for this project? It would be nice to see something posted or in an Excel document. It'd be interesting to see where we are in the project schedule. I'm curious to know how far the script/character development has come. Having a project schedule definitely makes the goal/deadline more concrete...and not to mention puts the pressure on with the countdown affect as milestones arrive. Other than that, what role do these secondary characters play?
Re: ORGANIZATION OF THE AUDITIONS!(All the Auditions Listed Here!)
Sounds like a fair plan to me about the minor characters, Iain, especially if there's a tight race between some of the auditions. After all, there's little enough time as it is.
Karma: The deadline for the script was the first of august. Then the deadline for the finished second draft was moved to eleventh. No news on that as such. No read-through yet, which was also supposed to happen the first of August. Deadline for the finished film is Halloween...

Re: ORGANIZATION OF THE AUDITIONS!(All the Auditions Listed Here!)
Hopefully we'll hear something soon. I think the hardest part of this film are getting the main actors and crew together, filming those scenes and then editing it all afterward. Definitely will be burning the midnight oil. There's almost no padded time for setbacks which worries me. I remain hopeful though as there are a lot of talented and dedicated people who are working on this project. I wish to be more involved but I don't know where I could help since it sounds like all responsibilities have been assigned.
Re: ORGANIZATION OF THE AUDITIONS!(All the Auditions Listed Here!)
Ask one of the admins, Karma.
We should really finish preproduction preparations within two weeks.
Including storyboards etc.
Let's aim for a finished script by Saturday/Sunday.
Then next week - storyboards and casting can occur.
I dont really have any right to make up these deadlines but I can't see any, myself.

Katy Perry.
I would.
I would.
Re: ORGANIZATION OF THE AUDITIONS!(All the Auditions Listed Here!)
I wasn't even full aware about the secondary characters, were they planned over in the writers forum?
Also any news on when Bryony will make the next update on the InternetZombieMovie youtube channel, I'm also starting to suggest that some of the Admins should also be able to post on the InternetZombieMovie youtube channel when Bryony isn't available, that way we can get more done ASAP

Actually Iain I usually look like my profile pic. I had to put make up on to make me look normal for the auditions.

You did a good job
Not speaking personally for her but i think Bryony's away is in Toronto, Canada at the moment at the You Tube gathering 888, so this may explain her lack of new stuff on the IZM Youtube channel.

Re: ORGANIZATION OF THE AUDITIONS!(All the Auditions Listed Here!)
I've suggested to Meg, and therefore Bryony, that we halt any progress in terms of casting until we've got the script completed. Or at the very least we slow it down and leave the door open to others coming in - there's no point in us having 5 cast members ready to go if we've got nothing to work with for another month.
We've got some polls and the like to run first but after that, me and a few others will hopefully have the chance to go over the script and tighten it and maybe add an explanation here or there for actors.
I think that then it would be fairer to have auditions or perhaps re-reads because at the minute we've got totally different characters reading the same script - so we're not really seeing an Eric from a Ben or an Angela from a Maddie. Most of us are probably making judgements on accent.
Also I think with an improved script it might help folks perform a bit better as the majority have struggled in parts.
We've got plenty of time to do all this, from what I know, so I think it's important that we have defined characters with a tight script before we try to find real people to fit.
