I think mine has to be 28 Days Later- it was so suspenseful!! and exciting to see London so silent and dead like that!!

Probably, Dawn of the Dead (Romero) & Shaun of the Dead (AWESOME! And for the fact I often get told I look like Ed!)

My first scary movie was a zombie movie.

Night of the living Dead or Evil Dead II

i like the original dawn of the dead cause it had tom savini in it and i love him romero can really make some good horror films and another good one is brain dead or dead alive as it was called in the usa was actually made by peter jackson it was a blood bath and i really want our movie to be like it so if you get the chance check it out

Original "Night of the Living Dead", but I do love all the Romero movies, even the less popular Land and Diary.

Probably Dawn, followed by Night and then Day. 28 days IS awesome, but I've seen it so many times, It's kinda lost its' touch.

Dawn of the Dead (2004) is probably the best I've seen. The guy who directed it is the same guy who directed 300! And he's making the new Watchmen movie too, can't wait

The Return of the Living Dead (1985) is pretty damn sweet also.

28 Days Later is not a zombie movie, they're not even dead! They're just really angry cos they have that disease. I'm a purist, I know.

Technicly 28 days/weeks later isn't a zombie movie, however, they do eat people and there is lots and lots of gore, how do you know normal zombies don't have this virus? Just a differnt form?

So i persoanlly think it classes as a zombie film!

28 Days Later got me re-interested in the whole zombie genre. You can't say it's not a zombie film - it's just a different interpretation. I really liked the remake of Dawn of the Dead especially the fact that if you left that movie before the end of the credits you might have a completely different idea as to what happened to the characters. Shaun of the Dead rocks on so many levels. But the one I'm really looking forward to is the proposed version of World War Zee by Max Brooks. That book is excellent and could be the zombie movie to end all zombie movies if they make it right.
