Poster Idea

I was on one of my walks today and sat down to do some drawing when I thought of this project and how badly we need a poster - so I've drawn up (and edited) a poster idea that would be more effective if done with a photograph or something.

Take a look.

Looks good, spelt "the" wrong though, sure you can fix it.

I had an idea for a poster its of a globe with a zombiefied hand reaching round it or standing behind it but that's more based on stuff i've seen in other zombie films.

Another idea is to have someone sat on a computer,watching You Tube surrounded by the dead, not sure that would work just an idea that came to me just now.

Perhaps we can have a poll or something, design a poster & vote which is best, maybe a way to go.

Yeah, I like the 2nd idea - not keen on the 1st - we need to emphasize the fact it is a comedy.

I really really like the first one. I can think of a few nice ways to do this. Shot from behind the computer screen (or rather, laptop) the blue light would emanate onto the character watching it and dissipate so the zombies behind him are barely visible. Once I get back to the studio at uni, I'll experiment with this, because it's just delicious.

(Also, I might not even need a studio, just a good lamp and using the HDR technique could get the results I'm wanting.)

Your zombie pic is very cool. You should be storyboarding this.....

Like all of these suggestions and I must admit, I was thinking along the same lines as Iain although I seem to remember that Spielberg used the martian hand gripping the earth or something on his poster for War Of The Worlds. Still, great minds I guess...if it worked for him.

Looking forward to seeing what you arty types come up with.

i'm desing anothor as we speak but i can't find any pics of zombies we could use for free cause of copyright etc can't find any on clipart if any body got any i can use let me know.

It does look kind of generally Photoshoped.
To be honest, I don't really like any of the poster suggestions shown here. I DO like the idea that I commented on earlier with the guy at his computer, provided it's done right, but the others are kind of... Silly or nonsensical.
