Anyway, let's focus on making a team of people that is able to organize the forum. Paperlilies cannot be there all the time. i think she'll needs persons to work for her.
I think that everyone that posted here on the announcement so far are capable to work with her because everyone here wil follow her! and so do I.

I just wanted to add my own 2 cents on this.

Firstly I think this is a great idea. Zombie movies for the win.

Secondly, I actually tried something like this on a smaller scale this year (I made a zombie movie for a night course I did and it turned out pretty well). A couple of words of advice though. The script is king - there can be no movie without it. And there can be no script without a basic story and plot. I would suggest that the process of coming up with the story be as dictatorial as possible. Come up with a basic outline of what you want, Paperlillies, then present it to the masses for feedback. But at the end of the day, with such a large volume of input, decisions will have to be made that not everyone will like. The biggest problem with this idea is that everybody will want their ideas included. And that may not make for a good movie. This is your idea so please don't be afraid to tell people what direction to go in.

Another problem that I encountered (and I am sure anyone who has tried to make a collaboration video has encountered the same) is that of reliability. People saying they will be able to do stuff and then not being able to follow through. This can be due to genuine reasons but I think whoever is making this will need to insist on regular status updates from all involved so that if someone needs to be replaced you have ample time to implement a plan B.

Anyway, I think this could be very interesting but be wary of "design by committee". Too many cooks can indeed spoil the broth.

You might want to make sure that everybody who appears in this signs a release form. You'd need an explicit signed hard copy release form as well and if there is anyone under the age of 16 you will need their parents consent.

Well fairly obv statement here, but i think sumthin important we shud rlly remeber wiv the plots is 2 make this zombie movie stand out. cos lets face it there a hell of a lot of zombie movies out there, that are dull, no plot and you dont care who gets eaten...
ideas 2 make this different:
. we should rlly try and explain the plot - genetic disease and link this 2 current peoples fears. remeber that diary of the dead was strongl linked 2 bird flu.
. these zombies... are they gonna be fast like in the (awsum, disturbing not jus scary and UNIEQUE) 28 days, or ur traditinal slow zombie. is they're anythin unieque about them - for example in 28 days they thorw up blood, where as in land of the dead they can learn.
. are we gonna have villains whom arnt' jus zombie's? I think this helps add human elemetn, and remind u whats the most dangerous of all. I'd personally luv 2 be a nemesis survivor whom tries 2 interefore wiv the hero survivors.


If you want any small part filmin's done , jus tell me what 2 do. have several people i know would do it (and only incluidn those who could do it well) livin near me, a camera and a few "unique locations":

Yes, I am a bit worried. But as long as we keep an eye on the announcments forum, it should be good. Hopefully, I can offer my services to the London Production team doing pretty much anything (other things permitting unfortunately).
