Big Idea:
Now that we've got the BBC on our side, we could request some acting from the news dept. and get some News Reel of Reporters going: "zomfg zombies!"
We can't. The BBC said that will not help us, they will just make a documentary for the project we are doing.
Then lets make 'em...
*punches hand*
Ow.
Re: BBC Documentary being made about the zombie movie!!!
Think its so cool that BBC 3 are going to follow the progress of this film, another reason to watch BBC 3 aside from they show Family Guy.
Re: BBC Documentary being made about the zombie movie!!!
this is a great step forward so time to get a plan into action and start giving them something major to put into the documentary woohoo lol
what about Germany?
Okay, well, how about a very disorganized organization?
-a moment of complaint: In the time that i have been waiting for some sort of acknowledgment, even a "just do it" i have filmed my grandfathers funeral, taken some eerie footage of mountains outside of Arizona (that look like the Taunus, but dead) and have scripted a short segment of my own demise.
Perhaps, i am a bit too proactive.
Anyway, baring an absolute NO, i would like to start the German segment of this whole thing.

-Whichever the case, at the very least, the German segment could be an apocryphal stand alone part of the greater film. I think 80+ million people deserve at least that much attention.

Re: BBC Documentary being made about the zombie movie!!!
I'm not sure how helpful this is or if anyone has posted these links already but these are a few important links related to the zombie project and the BBC's involvement in the project (which we are eternally thankful for lol):
BBC 'Bryony Makes a Zombie Movie' site - The actual 'webisodes' by the BBC team that follow Bryony around. They are updated every Tuesday and Friday at 3.33 pm but are only available to those within the UK. The vids average time length at the moment is around 3-4 minutes but this is subject to change. They will document the movie making process until Halloween when Bryony will host a big Halloween par-tay. Yeah, good luck to her XD
BBC's Youtube Account - A few hours after the videos have been uploaded to the 'Bryony Makes a Zombie Movie' site the vids are then subsequently uploaded to this account that the whole world can view. At the moment they are uploaded a few hours after but this is subject to change.
'Paperlilies Fans' Bebo account - They have a video gallery where the webisodes have been uploaded. I'm assuming that people outside of America can view these vids. I doubt that the BBC have given permission to view these clips but I'd doubt they mind, it's only helping spread the word.
BBC blog thingy - I'm not sure how often this is updated, if at all, but it's good to keep tabs anyway.
Internet Zombie Movie Youtube Channel - I'm sure all of you have already saved this link but just in case.... XD
I hope that these links are all of some use to you all. I'd suggest you make a folder in your favourites for links specifically related to this project, just to be as weirdly organised as me etc. XD
Oh, by the way, at this point we have roughly around 110 days until halloween XD

BBC Webisodes
I can't find a version of the second webisode that's viewable outside of the UK.
Does anyone have a link to it?
Does anyone have a link to it?
Re: BBC Documentary being made about the zombie movie!!!
By the looks of things the second webisode hasn't been uploaded on the BBC website as of yet. The only thing I can think of is that it's the 12th of July and this is a British holiday thingy so maybe everyone is off work? XD Hmmm...I honestly don't have a clue. I'm sure if you keep googling then you'll eventually get the second vid. If for some reason this doesn't get uploaded anytime soon then what basically happens is:
Bryony pays a visit to a dvd/comic book store where an expert in zombie movies/comics etc. advises her on what past zombie movies she should be paying attention to. So yeah, basically the two of them discuss what they think about zombies and all that jazz. I think we may have seen the dvds that Bryony bought as inspiration in a video blog she uploaded a few days ago. Anyway, since the zombie walk is happening today I have a feeling that Tuesdays blog will probably revolve around getting that organised and everything that happened. Sorry again to anyone who can't watch the 'webisodes' but they should be up on the bbc youtube pretty soon.

How is 12th July a holiday? Why did no one tell me about it?

Re: BBC Documentary being made about the zombie movie!!!
Love, you live in the Uk, of course it works for you XDD It's the people outside of Europe that are having problems, the vids are in a different format and all that jazz. As for the 12th of July is Orange Man's day, now that I think of it the holiday isn't that popular in England. It might just be here in NI but it's a protestant holiday so I just assumed. Don't you guys get the bank holiday on monday? Huh, go figure. Anyway, if anyone has any concerns about this then read the full volume of this thread and you should find the answer to any queries without having to ask any questions.
EDIT: The second webisode is up on the BBC youtube account. Click this link to check it out - Clicky Clicky! (I have a feeling that the BBC youtube account is updated with the zombie vids the very next day after the inital vid has been posted up on the BB3 Bryony Makes a Zombie Movie site).

Orange Man's Day? Never even heard of it. Mind you, I think anything with "Orange" in the title is invariable a purely Norn Iron thing. The next English bank holiday isn't until August.

Re: BBC Documentary being made about the zombie movie!!!
Ooooooooh. I thought that England celebrated it as well. No, basically the Orangemen are a group of supremist protestants who like to march about like they own they place throughout Northern Ireland. Businesses and things are closed in order to ensure that there are no instances of when 'accidental violence' could occur. Go wiki it, very fascinating and all that. Enough about all that absolute nosnence though, what do you guys think of everything Hat Trick have done so far? Pretty cool, no? Must be pretty weird for Bryony to have a film crew following her about the place.
Re: BBC Documentary being made about the zombie movie!!!
Never heard of that before.
Yeah i think it's great hat trick and bbc three doing this. It makes it seem so cool. Maybe when the movies finished they might give it air time and play it on bbc three. If i was watching the vids and not taking part i would hope they put the movie on to.

Re: BBC Documentary being made about the zombie movie!!!
It seems logical for them to show the movie on BBC3 after the premiere and it's been out on dvd for a while etc. It really is up to the high powers though. I mean, I would definately tune in and I'm sure I'm right in saying that a lot of people would watch in on the channel.
Re: BBC Documentary being made about the zombie movie!!!
As production companies go, HatTrick appear to be one of the coolest (from what little I know of such things).
I mean, they did Whose Line is it Anyway, and Have I Got News For You, and Room 101 and all sorts.

Re: BBC Documentary being made about the zombie movie!!!
Yeah, I've been checking their website every so often but they don't seem to have any links to the Bryony makes a movie site or anything else. They do mainly comedy and entertainment but they have a few dramas as well. Check out their actual website by clicking this link.
